The installation covers the upgrade of the existing satellite communication system by a Satcom Direct Plane Simple KU-Band SATCOM system, consisting of a Satcom Direct Modem Unit (SMU), installed in the AFT equipment bay, and a KU-Band Advanced Tail Mounted Antenna (ATMA), installed on existing antenna frame assembly on the vertical stabilizer. Existing SATCOM Radome is reused. Obsolete Inmarsat SATCOM system with AMT-50 Antenna system is removed.

Removal of originally installed Collins CES – Cabin Electronic System with Galley TSE and two Cabin Standard Definition bulkhead LCD, as well as CD/DVD players and installation of Collins VENUE High-Definition CMS/IFE with Galley HD TSE and two Cabin HD LCD, 3D HD Airshow, AS-Mobile, Blueray Player and Cabin HDMI ports.
Removal of OEM originally installed CTU Aerocom 3000 with wireless DECT Handsets, Cradle and Base Station and installation of Collins Advanced Data Router ADR-2100 with cabin WiFi/4G-LTE functionalities.
Installation of Collins single Aircraft Interface Device (AID) with dual Tablet Interface Modules (TIM), providing aircraft data in peer-to-peer communication and electrical power to Pilot and Co-Pilot portable iPAD/EFB.
Removal of all originally installed and obsolete cabin wash lights with ballast units and installation of all new LED Wash Lights with dimmers from Aircraft Lighting International in Crew Rest, Galley, Passenger Cabin and Lavatory.
This ADS-B out upgrade solution is fully integrated into EMB145/135 Honeywell Primus II avionics. It may be performed independently from any EMB SB, by upgrading corresponding Honeywell NAV/COM equipment directly with Honeywell (dealer involvement is required). ADS-B out information is displayed on Pilot/Co-Pilot RMUs. Basically, upgrade consists of NAV/COM units removal, upgrade/replacement by Honeywell and re-installation. Just six new wires to be installed in forward avionic compartment.
Removal of OEM originally installed DU-870 Display Unit and their replacement by LCD DU-875. One-by-one upgrade/replacement is possible, no new hardware or wire installation is required. Estimated labour – 4MH. Estimated a/c ground time: 5 hours.

Removal of OEM Embraer originally installaed SATCOM Swift 64 (SDU-7300 and HPA-7400) and installation of new SATCOM Swift Broadband (SDU-7330 and HPA-7450) Single-channel or Multi-channel SATCOM Swift BB/SBB.
